Met One Instruments’ Model 061 sensor is designed for general purpose ambient air temperature measurement. The solid-state, multi-element, thermistor device, produces a relatively large resistance change per degree of temperature change, allowing the use of normal signal voltages without self-heating of the sensor. When used with signal conditioning modules, the resultant output is a precise analog voltage.
The 061 mounts in Met One’s 076B Motor Aspirated Shield.
The T-200 is a 100 Ohm platinum based RTD, designed for accurate wide range temperature measurements outside the range of the thermistor probes. Each calibrated standard T-200 sensor has a unique calibration constant that can be programmed into your measuring device for higher accuracy making it ideal for differential temperature (∆T).
The T-200 mounts in both the 076B and 598 Radiations Shields.
Met One Instruments’ 063 Temperature Sensor is a device that precisely measures air, water and soil temperature over extended ranges. The thermistor sensor is encapsulated in a silicone oil-filled stainless-steel jacket that is particularly well suited for field applications, as it exhibits high resistance sensitivity. This eliminates problems associated with line lead length, noisy environ- ments and poor connections.
The Model 065 uses the same sensing network as the Model 061, but is configured to mount directly to the Model 073B or 5980 Radiation Shield. The sensor is supplied with a screw-type connector which connects directly to the signal cable.

The 083E Relative Humidity Sensor is a highly sensitive and stable relative humidity measurement tool that provides outstanding accuracy. It is reliable in the full range of relative humidity conditions, from 0-100%, performing equally well in meteorological, industrial, laboratory and other demanding settings.
Model 085 combines a temperature sensor with the relative humidity sensor and can be used with a variety of radiation shields.
076B Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield
This motor aspirated radiation shield is currently employed in the most comprehensive temp monitoring network in the world. 076B shields can be used with up to four T/RH probes and are available for use with 110/220 VAC and 12VDC power sources. These shields are commonly used for Delta-T measurements and are deployed around the world by NOAA and leading research organizations.
Met One Radiation Shields reduce errors in temperature and relative humidity measurements that are caused by direct solar radiation. They are constructed of a series of white aluminum concentric plates, which allow air flow to pass through the shield, while blocking direct solar rays. This shielding minimizes the effects of solar and terrestrial radiation and provides accurate measurements.
